Kim Power is a specialist in spirituality and cultural traditions, with post-graduate degrees in Theology
and Religious Studies.
Kim has extensive practical experience in developing
ceremonies both private and public. She recently retired from teaching
students undertaking the Monash University Graduate Diploma in Arts (Civil
Ceremonies) to understand the personal issues that are pertinent to their
profession in order to devote more time to her celebrancy practice.
She is especially qualified to prepare and preside at both purely civil ceremonies as well as those where
you desire a spiritual dimension.
As a civil celebrant, my goal is to assist you in creating fulfilling celebrations of
life’s great occasions. I consider it a privilege to be invited to help shape marriages, namings, special events or funerals
that reflect your special wishes and needs.
I offer:
|
|
Naming Ceremonies that joyfully welcome a child into your
family and community, and celebrate this new life as you commit to
nurturing its development |
|
|
Weddings that express your love and commitment with the
flair and elegance that expresses your individuality |
|
|
Special events and birthdays that celebrate life's
milestones and triumphs |
|
|
Funeral preparations that give sensitive assistance to
bereaved families, creating a ceremony that acknowledges both the
reality of grief and the potential for beauty and healing intrinsic to
honouring a beloved life |
